We have the awesome privilege of working with the Grisim fam on a yearly basis, documenting the growth of (and awesome faces made by) their little guy, and knocking out some cool Christmas card photos while we’re at it. We had a great time poking around Snoqualmie together, visiting the trains and playing ball with their feisty pup. Thanks for trusting us with your memories, guys. Already looking forward to next year.

Jody and Alex are basically awesome. I drug them out at the crack of dawn my first morning in Phoenix and was SO impressed of their uncaffinated energy (as I was pounding my triple tall gingerbread latte). Jody never stops laughing… ever… and that worked just fine for me. And in a move as equally awesome as they are, Jody and Alex will be getting married this summer at Huntington Beach, CA, and you better believe Ali and I will be there!
Thanks so much for trusting us with your memories. We’re so excited to be sharing this wicked awesome time of your lives with you.

Hey, Hey!
One of our 2010 brides submitted her wedding to Seattle Bride Magazine for consideration for their “Real Weddings” section, and while we didn’t quite make that feature, she was soon told that her wicked choice in bridesmaids dresses had landed her a spot in a different feature for the Spring/Summer 2011 issue. While we were hanging out at the Seattle Wedding Show yesterday we picked up a copy of the just-released issue, and lo-and-behold, there was Jen and her bridesmaids in all their laughing, smiley glory. We’re so excited that she got to show off all her hard work in planning her big day, and we’re super jazzed that our first print publishing is in the quite-prestigious Seattle Bride Magazine.
Wooohoo!

Andrea and Louie met during a church mission trip a few years ago, fell in love, and got married in Costa Rica (where she’s from). Unfortunately (more so for us than them) we weren’t able to make it down to shoot the big day, but we DID manage to get together a couple hours after I got off the plane in Phoenix this past December for some reminiscing, tons of laughing, and a couple of pictures in between.
Oh, and as I was delighted to find out (via the modern marvel that is facebook) this morning that it looks like these two are gonna be parents! CONGRATS!//Josh

Richard has been one of my best friends since high school; we met in choir our sophomore year and now, 12 years later he’ll be one of my groomsmen in our wedding this summer. I could spend this whole blog post telling the hundreds of awesome stories we share between us, but I’ll save that for MY toast at HIS wedding. What I will say, though, is that Richard is one of the most passionate people I’ve met, so it’s no surprise that he found himself a lovely lady who shares his passion for love and life in Quantá. On top of that, they’re expecting a baby boy in the next month or so, and that little guy is going to have the most awesome parents around. Catching shots of all this love was one of the easiest gigs I’ve had in a long time.
Congrats, you two. I am SO excited to be a part of your big day (Co-best man AND photographer!!!). Thanks for trusting me with these moments.
