Kelly+Kyle | Bonus Features

As previously stated, Kelly and Kyle brought us out of video retirement to shoot their super rad wedding back in February, and while video is quite the daunting and intensive task on the big day, we managed to sneak out our still camera and snap some behind the scenes photos we hoped to use for packaging. Since they had a photographer already booked, our photos came out more like a second shooter’s would, seeing some random moments with very little in the way of conventional formals or events. Here are a few more we’ve yet to share. Thanks again, guys, for trusting us with your memories as well as making our last ever video wedding all kinds of awesome.//Josh+Ali

Monday's Flowers | Burke Museum | Golden Gardens Bathhouse

Oh Seattle…back to that gloomy weather again today… Luckily, I am editing some beautiful photos of yellow tulips, billy buttons, and hydrangeas, which is making it feel a little more like Spring! I can’t help but share some of the unique floral pieces created by Ashley of  Monday’s Flowers for a recent event at the Burke Museum and a wedding at Golden Gardens. We always feel blessed to meet other local vendors in the Seattle area, and have been lucky enough to count Ashley as one of them! I have a particular fondness for Ashley’s work because it manages to be both modern and rustic. Don’t you love the birch bark and use of twigs!? Even better- she is passionate about flowers and dedicated to her clients. If you are looking for personal, creative, and friendly service, Monday’s Flowers is the design studio to contact! //Ali

Lori + Stu | Seattle Engagement

Lori and Stu are pretty freaking awesome. Lori is a wicked blogger and Stu plays bass for a ridiculously good local-but-always-touring rock band. With their powers combined they brought the kind of e-session fun that makes it pretty easy to ignore bursts of blinding wind and rain (hypothetically…?). The location is this random little park in the middle of a Sodo neighborhood that many refer to as simply “Hat and Boots” (a quick google search will reveal the history of the aforementioned large articles of clothing). We figured the personality of the park meshed well with the personality of these crazy kids, and the rest was engagement history.

Congrats, you two, and thanks for trusting us will all this awesome.//Josh+Ali
