Highlights | Newlywed Post

west seattle market, seattle wedding photographer, wedding photographer personal post, newlywed post, make your own dryer sheet, tips for newlywed couples, marriage blog, happy blog about marriage, fun seattle wedding photographers

Little highlights of our week:

-Lunch at Portage Bay Cafe (yum) with some wonderful clients-turned-friends who were in town wedding planning (they will be our first wedding of the season)!

-Editing some pretty rockin’ engagement sessions. Like us on Facebook to see sneak peaks.

-Coming up with new packaging for our 2012-2013 clients (you guys should be excited…it’s kind of great).

-Going to the farmers market to pick up some local eats, discovering this new booth (seriously good), and making Kamut cereal for the first time.

-A lazy coffee-filled morning together catching up on New Girl, which has managed to be consistently funny. We love Schmidt.

-Date Night: Hunger Games and pizza. Upside: The movie was surprisingly good and convinced us to read the series. Downside: There was a group of 15 crazy ladies in a 6 person booth next to us at dinner, and one of them pretty much sat on top of me (funny, but weird).

-A perfect long walk on Alki with the Roo in. the. sun. In a jean jacket. Woo!

-A beautiful hand-tied bouquet gifted from Monday’s Flowers sitting on our kitchen table.

-$$ saving newlywed discovery worth sharing: Instead of buying dryer sheets…mix some natural hair conditioner and an equal amount of water. Soak a small cloth in the mixture and let it dry, or put it in a spray bottle and spritz a few sprays on a washcloth before throwing it in the dryer with your clothes. Respray for each new load.

We hope you are having a great week!// Josh + Ali
