Phoenix Family Sessions
Got to hang out with this awesome little family while we were in Phoenix this weekend. Sooooo much more goodness to come, so stay tuned!
Kate+Mike | Seattle Engagement Session
Kate and Mike met a while back at a movie they went to with some mutual friends. Nowadays they happen to know some folks at The Grand Illusion Cinema in the U District, so we took advantage of the hook-up and shot their engagement in the most appropriate of venues.
The set up was a little different than our standard, sunny, naturally lit sessions, but we loooooooved how much fun Kate and Mike were willing to have with us and the ideas we came up with. Lookin' forward to their wedding in just a few months!!!

Tricia+Justin | Fern Hollow Wedding
You may remember Tricia and Justin from their awesome e-sesh on the ferry, which is why it's only appropriate that their wedding was the first time we had to drive onto one ourselves.
Nestled deep in Sequim, Fern Hollow is a sweet little venue with a beautiful woodsy view that was perfect for their lovely ceremony and a rustic barn for their reception partying.
A sweet, intimate ceremony, tons of great personal details (check out the wine bottles!!) and an electric dance party with an awesome band made for one incredible day that was absolutely worth the trip.

Pentatonix | Showbox Sodo Seattle, WA
If you haven't heard of these awesome kids before then let me do you a favor: Click here , here and here, and treat your ears to some of the most awesome a cappella arrangements I've ever heard.
Winners of season 3 of the Sing Off, Pentatonix have capitalized on the exposure with two sold out tours (this one hitting the Showbox Sodo, with a 1,500 capacity!!) and two excellent EPs. Last night's show proved that there's no studio magic behind their incredible sound. Enjoy!

Meg+David | Palisade Wedding Seattle, WA
Meg and David...where to begin? This couple really stole our hearts.
The two met through Match.com and David proposed on top of Crystal Mountain in the middle of a blizzard. As they began the wedding planning process, they entered the Palisade’s Dream Wedding contest, sharing their amazing story and ultimately winning votes through the Facebook social media contest .
The wedding itself was, in David's words, "a tip of the hat to the amazing city that we call home. Custom Seattle skyline invitations, and a cocktail hour cruise around the Puget Sound with an oyster feast...gave our guests an opportunity to experience the city that we love so dearly."
We were extremely blessed to be a part of their amazing wedding day, which was artfully put together and still so personal. We still talk about the toast given by Meg's sister who was the "sister of honor". Oh, and of course the pugs! Thanks, you two, for trusting us to capture your wedding day.
