Pickles and ice-cream...um, how cute is this?! These two are such an amazing couple, and I am lucky to count this lovely lady as a close friend. It was super fun being able to document their big news! One of these images was used as their official announcement. love. it. //Ali

My younger sister, Jerri. When I look at these pictures I think of so many things…silly things, but important ones that span our lifetime as sisters.
Being woken up on Christmas Eve at 3 a.m. and trying to talk her into sleeping a few more hours (she never would).
Stealing mom’s office supplies to play “teacher” in homemade forts.
Playing H-O-R-S-E in the front yard for hours, eating otter pops and riding our bikes in circles.
Braiding her hair and doing her makeup before special events when she wanted to get “all doiled up” (and before this photo session).
Laying on the floor of our apartment, trying to get the antennas to stand up just right to watch our favorite shows during college.
Going on drives and laughing…always laughing hysterically….whether going to get coffee or taking an impromptu road trip.
Chick flicks, pizza, and dance parties. Ice cream and graham cracker bears on a hard day.
Watching her grow into a fabulous teacher, and now, a mom-to-be.
She is a genuine down-to-earth girl, and forever a kid at heart. She will be a natural mother with her enviable patience, sweet spirit and quick-witted dry humor.
Congrats to Jerri and Vincent! Jerome, we can’t wait to meet you. //Ali

These were taken a while ago and I realized we hadn’t shared them on the blog. Here are some sweet photos of Tristan and, in her words, the little gummi. //Ali

Richard has been one of my best friends since high school; we met in choir our sophomore year and now, 12 years later he’ll be one of my groomsmen in our wedding this summer. I could spend this whole blog post telling the hundreds of awesome stories we share between us, but I’ll save that for MY toast at HIS wedding. What I will say, though, is that Richard is one of the most passionate people I’ve met, so it’s no surprise that he found himself a lovely lady who shares his passion for love and life in Quantá. On top of that, they’re expecting a baby boy in the next month or so, and that little guy is going to have the most awesome parents around. Catching shots of all this love was one of the easiest gigs I’ve had in a long time.
Congrats, you two. I am SO excited to be a part of your big day (Co-best man AND photographer!!!). Thanks for trusting me with these moments.

Somehow, someway, amidst a barren landscape of dry desert, a ton of love has managed to grow and thrive. Proof:

By the time I post this blog there is a very real chance that baby Cali will be born. Lucky for her, Andrea+Bill are basically primed and ready to be one awesome set of parents to their little girl. Catching all the love and silliness the two of them shared together was such an awesome experience I thought I’d share a few of those moments with you all.
The outfit a little bit down there is Cali’s “come home from the hospital” outift (aww) and don’t even get me started on the bunnies. What an awesome family these guys are.
More after the jump!!!
